The spring 2018 San Diego Regional CATESOL conference will take place on Saturday, April 21 at the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC) at 4343 Ocean View Blvd., San Diego, CA. This year‘s theme is Surfing the Waves of Change in Challenging Times . Changes in our ESL programs seem to be as predictable as waves at our local beaches. Just as a surfer makes last minute adjustments to each wave, so do classroom teachers adjust to changes that impact the educational environment (e.g. student diversity, course and curriculum changes, available funding resources, immigration policies, or state and national standards).
